Bus Transportation

The Corning-Painted Post School District and Elmira City School District will provide bus transportation for students living in their district, subject to their normal policies.  Middle school students are transported if they live more than one and one-half miles from the school or bus stop. 

Note that there is no transportation for students who live within the Corning city limits.  Parents who live in the district, and want to arrange for public school bus transportation to and from school should notify the school upon enrollment, or as soon as the need for bus transportation arises.

The Horseheads School District will provide bus transportation home from ASMS for students living in their district, subject to their normal policies. The district is working on a plan to provide bus transportation to ASMS in the morning for students living in their district, subject to their normal policies.
