Admissions - Affording ASMS
Financial Assistance
The ASMS Board of Trustees is committed to an active program of community fund-raising to secure ongoing funding for financial aid for students who meet admissions criteria, and who demonstrate financial need. Approximately 30% of our students receive some amount of financial assistance through this program.
The Board’s financial aid philosophy is to use financial aid awards in a proactive manner to ensure that ASMS achieves its stated admissions philosophy of maintaining a diverse student body, with a particular focus on ensuring socioeconomic, gender, and ethnic diversity. In granting annual financial aid awards, preference will be given to enrolled students already receiving financial aid.
It is the philosophy of ASMS to grant financial aid only in cases where the student’s family has demonstrated financial need, as documented by a completed financial aid application.
