Our Growth
ASMS opened it doors in January 2004 with a half-year pilot program for twenty 6th and 7th grade students. In September 2004, ASMS began its first full-year program serving forty students in grades 6-8. In each of the three following years, ASMS experienced continued growth as it added another section of students at each grade level.
Even with this continued growth, the ASMS mission and vision remain constant. ASMS is committed to providing its diverse community of students with an academically challenging and supportive learning environment based on trust, respect and a commitment to life-long learning.
To date, the ASMS mission has been embraced by 170 students and their families representing seven area school districts and fourteen nationalities.
