ASMS at a Glance
Overview
Program targeted to students in grades six through eight.
Chartered by the New York State Board of Regents.
Curriculum includes chorus, band, art, world languages, physical education and health in addition to core academic subjects.
Regional school with students from multiple districts in the Southern Tier.
- Average class size: 14-15 students
Need-based financial assistance for approximately 30% of ASMS students. - Partnering with Corning YMCA to provide physical education and sports as well as 171 Cedar Arts Center to provide unique arts experiences.
- Community service is integral to the program.
- After-school activities include sports, clubs, and academic teams.
